Porfirio and his family are from Guatemala and participating in the immigrant farmer program at Big River Farms/Minnesota Food Association. This is heavy work and they deserve a break. Laurie Schneider is a visual storyteller whose portrait and documentary projects capture the humanity of her subjects.
